More Sears Centre changes
Hoffman Estates officials are nearing completion of the management changes to the Sears Centre Arena they've been making since taking over the building at the end of last year.
After much discussion this week, the board grudgingly granted authority to the management firm Global Spectrum to sign event licenses on behalf of the village.
However, the board deferred until Monday the final decision on whether New Era Tickets should take over ticketing services at the arena from Ticketmaster.
New Era's processing fees are believed to be much lower than Ticketmaster's have been.
