Arlington Heights PTA scholarships
Graduating high school seniors, who have attended one or more Arlington Heights District 25 schools for at least three years, are invited to apply for one of the Arlington Heights Council of PTAs Academic or Achievement Scholarships.

Academic scholarships are available to students who have maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA (5.0 scale) and Achievement Scholarships are available to students with an active IEP who have maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA (5.0 scale).
The criteria set by the Scholarship Committee endeavors to recognize personal and academic achievement of students. Winners will be selected based on school and community involvement, paid and volunteer work experience, motivation and academic standing.
Since its inception in 1974, the Arlington Heights Council of PTAs Scholarship Fund has awarded more than 290 scholarships, to graduating high school seniors, with the total dollar amount exceeding $300,000.00. Completed applications are due no later than Saturday, March 6, 2010, to be considered. In addition, the Arlington Heights Council of PTAs just accepted a generous donation from the family of Joseph F. Reiss Family as a memorial to this supporter of District 25 Schools of its education and community programs. This contribution is supplementing our scholarship award program in 2010.
Applications are available at the following high schools: Buffalo Grove, John Hersey, Prospect, Rolling Meadows, and St. Viator.
