Through Monday's play, Ken Pomeroy ranked the Golden Eagles No. 17 while Jeff Sagarin's Predictor had them at No. 18. Marquette needs to start winning road games, though, in order to gain ground in the RPI and ensure a spot in the NCAA Tournament. The Golden Eagles lead the nation in 3-point shooting (43.4 percent) as senior guard Maurice Acker just went 6-for-6 in Sunday's 30-point whipping of Providence. The Demons are struggling mightily on offense without injured center Mac Koshwal. They shot 36 percent against Providence and 32 percent in Sunday's 20-point loss at St. John's. For the year, DePaul shoots 39 percent from the field, 32 percent from 3 and 56 percent at the line.Northern Illinois (7-8, 3-0) at Toledo (3-14, 0-3)When: 6 p.m. at Savage ArenaRadio: WSCR 670-AM (until 7:45)Skinny: The Huskies are shooting for uncharted territory. A win would represent the program's first 4-0 start in its 24 seasons as a Mid-American Conference member. NIU also guns for its sixth win in a row, which hasn't been done since the 1995-96 squad that was the last to make the NCAA Tournament. Junior guard Jake Anderson succeeded Xavier Silas as the MAC West's Player of the Week. In addition to averaging 17 points and 6.5 rebounds last week, Anderson became the 28th Huskie to crack the 1,000-point barrier. Gene Cross' freshman-laden Toledo squad is stuck in a seven-game losing rut. Freshman swingman Jake Barnett (14.5 ppg) is the team's lone double-figure scorer.-
