Stop nominating Ryan for Nobel

I had to respond when I read that Professor Francis Boyle said he is again nominating former Gov. George Ryan for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Professor Boyle is a law professor at the University of Illinois. He thinks former Gov. Ryan should be nominated because he stopped the executions of 167 prisoners on death row. So, Ryan saves the lives of 167 prisoners who have caused who knows what type of injury/death to innocent, law abiding, taxpaying citizens and Boyle thinks Ryan is Nobel Peace Prize material?

It scares me to think that this man is teaching our children of today. It infuriates me that as an Illinois taxpayer, I am paying for his salary, insurance, pension and God knows what else. Professor Boyle, former Gov. Ryan saved 167 prisoners from dying, but killed an innocent family. Do you remember the Willis family? Do you remember Ryan's illegal license-for-hire program? You know the one where he sold licenses to people who had no right to drive an 18-wheeler, the one that killed the Willis family, so that he and his family could go on enjoying the good life from the money he received?

I hope you realize that nominating Ryan is a mistake. Please consider using your time and talents for much worthy causes to make this world a better, safer place for everyone.
