Special education tutoring:

Aurora University's College of Education Tutoring Center will begin offering free tutoring for special education students in grades one to 12 during the spring semester. A limited number of students are being accepted for tutoring sessions that begin 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. Jan. 26 and 27, in the Institute for Collaboration at 407 S. Calumet Ave., Aurora. Sessions end April 28 with parent-teacher conferences. Graduate education students who are teachers or special-education teacher candidates provide the tutoring.
