Hartstein will speak up for 59th District
Since 2003, the residents of the 59th district have been fortunate to have had the strong independent voice of Kathy Ryg speak on our behalf in Springfield. As the Feb. 2 primaries approach, the question becomes who is best-suited to become our voice in the Illinois House? I strongly believe that Elliott Hartstein is best able to provide the vigorous voice we need to speak for the 59th District.
Elliott's resume of over 30 years in public service experience as a school board trustee, a village trustee, and as village president far exceeds his opponent's one term on a park district board. Elliott Hartstein has been a leading advocate in this area for improving education, improving transportation and promoting fiscal responsibility. He has a record of standing up for what he believes in and what is best for his constituents. He is willing to stand up and choose what is right over what is politically expedient or popular.
As a Vernon Township Trustee and resident of the district, I would be proud to have Elliott Hartstein be my voice in Springfield and suggest the voters in the 59th District vote to let him be their voice as well.
