Advice on speaking up

How anyone experiencing bullying and intolerance locally or globally can speak up for their point of view peacefully will be the topic at the Arlington Heights Council of PTAs annual breakfast meeting at Greenbrier Elementary School, 2330 N. Verde Drive.

The speaker at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, for the District 25 group is Alexis Storch, youth educator at the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center in Skokie. She will give ideas on how to overcome obstacles to standing up for people as well as recognizing when it is time to take a stand against intolerance and inequality.
