Palatine Twp. filled with gratitude

"Thank you" does not seem like it says enough when reflecting on all of the food and cash donations that were made by Palatine Township residents to the Food Pantry during 2009.

Palatine Township was fortunate enough to be the recipients of food items from many large (and small) food drives that came in throughout the year.

Some of the largest food drives were the result of the hard work provided by Lavelle Law, the U.S. Postal Service, District 15 schools, District 211 offices, Palatine High School, Fremd High School, Rolling Meadows High School, Northrop Grumman, Schneider Electric, United Parcel Service, various Scout troops and countless other kindhearted and caring people in the community.

It has been reported that there were some local food pantries that ran out of food. The Palatine Township Food Pantry did not have this problem and it is due to the deep concern and involvement by the great people in the Palatine Township community. We cannot thank you enough.

May you and your loved ones have a prosperous and happy 2010.

Palatine Township Supervisor
