Health plan will cost more than you think

Sen. Ben Nelson, a Nebraska Demorat, after pledging to vote against the $2.5 trillion health care bill, changed his mind today and decided to vote for it.

Let's examine the process. The reason for his change of heart is he was offered to have the federal government pick up his state's share of the Nebraska Medicaid cost FOREVER. Normally, the states pay their share. That will cost us taxpayers hundreds of millions.

To persuade the Louisiana Democratic senator to vote for the bill, a provision was added to the bill providing $300 million to that state. So she is now in favor of it. And we are paying for it.

The Democrats wrote a health care bill behind locked doors with no Republican representation and didn't even acknowledge the suggestions sent to them by the Republicans. When it appeared they didn't have the 60 votes needed, they simply BRIBED people with our tax dollars.

In business, people who bribe to get their way are fired and may go to jail. But in the new Obama administration this is just business as usual.

In 11 short months, Obama and the Democrats have turned the greatest Democracy in the world into a dictatorship spending wildly with our money and ignoring the will of the people. And they will try to continue their government takeover of everything using money that doesn't belong to them.
