Close shave for Aurora cops: Aurora police officers are spearheading an event in which they hope to raise $28,000 for the nonprofit St. Baldrick's Foundation, a group dedicated to childhood cancer research. The effort will culminate March 14 when several officers will shave their heads in exchange for donations. The fourth annual event will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. at Mike and Denise's, 1760 N. Farnsworth Ave., Aurora. The guide, which was two years in the making, lists agencies and organizations by category.
