Newcomers Club to host luncheon

The Fox Valley Newcomers and Neighbors Club will host a luncheon Wednesday, Jan. 20, at La Za Za's Trattoria, 5 S. First St. in St. Charles. It starts at 11:30 a.m. with a meet-and-greet, followed by a noon luncheon, and an entertaining and informative program.

The guest speaker will be Dr. Martin Plotkin of Wellness Concepts, a practice that is dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes through assessing the whole human being.

"Our office is an integrated medical practice utilizing comprehensive homeopathy, functional medicine, nonsurgical orthopedics and more, as needed for the care and restoration for those we serve," Plotkin said.

This social and philanthropic organization is for women in the area who are interested in meeting and making new friends through various social and fundraising activities. This year's fundraising activity will benefit the Lazarus House in St. Charles.
