Lakes' Androus hits milestone in loss

North Chicago 106, Lakes 83: John Androus became the fourth player in Lakes' history to score 1,000 career points.

Androus had 32 points and 19 rebounds, despite Lakes' loss Friday night, which dropped the Eagles to 4-11 overall and 2-2 in the North Suburban Prairie Division.

Androus entered the game needing 11 points to reach the milestone and did so early in the second quarter.

North Chicago was led in scoring by Michael Simpson with 31 points and Aaron Simpson with 24.
