St. Charlesbull; Justin Theodore Psichalinos, 50, a homeless man in the St. Charles area, was arrested Dec. 26 on charges of criminal trespass. Store employees at a Jewel-Osco store on the 2000 block of Prairie Street in St. Charles observed Psichalinos enter the store and place a 750 ml bottle of alcohol down his pants, police said. Psichalinos was banned from the store four weeks ago when store employees observed him attempt to steal a bottle of alcohol, police said. On the second occasion, Psichalinos saw the employee following him in the store and put the bottle of on another shelf in a different part of the store, police said. The employee called police to have Psichalinos arrested on charges of trespass.bull; A credit card and debit card were reported stolen from an open locker at the XSport Fitness on the 200 block of Randall Road in St. Charles on Dec. 28. The cards were subsequently used at a restaurant in Chicago and a McDonald's and Jewel/Osco gas station at unknown locations.bull; All four tires were punctured on a white 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix parked overnight at the Charlestowne Mall in St. Charles between Dec. 25 and Dec. 26. The estimated damage to the vehicle was about $400. bull; Cory Jay Johnson, 24, of the 500 block of Southeast Prescot Place in Stuart, was arrested Dec. 20 on charges of battery. A woman told police that Johnson began throwing darts at her in a tavern in St. Charles after she accidentally bumped into him. After one of the darts struck the woman, she hit Johnson with her purse and left the bar with her friends, police said. The woman told police that Johnson followed and struck her in back of the head with a chunk of ice, according to police reports. Upon questioning, Johnson told police he intentionally struck the woman with the chunk of ice, police said. bull; Cierra Monay Riley, 18, of the 0-100 block of South Hankes Road in Aurora, was arrested Dec. 28 on charges of retail theft. Security officers at the Von Maur store on the 3800 block of East Main Street told police Riley took three pairs of denim jeans into a fitting room and left with only two pairs. Riley then left the store without paying for any items, but was stopped by security officers, the report said. The security officers told police Riley admitted to having a pair of jeans, valued at $115, for which she had not paid, inside her coat. Security then checked Riley's purse and found two dresses with a total value of about $100, the report said.Bataviabull; Eggs were thrown at, and froze to, siding and a window of a house on the 1600 block of Sauk Drive, it was reported at 5:27 p.m. Jan. 3.bull; A Motorola Rival cell phone was stolen at Funway, 1335 S. Ceramic vases and tiles were stolen from Verve on Third; a large painting of a nude model was stolen from Treasure Hunt.bull; Two men were seen stealing a reindeer lawn decoration, putting it in to a dark-colored SUV, at 12:01 a.m. Dec. 27 on the 3200 block of Knollwood Circle.bull; A woman's wallet was stolen around 1:50 p.m. Dec. 23 at Barnes and Noble bookstore at Geneva Commons; it was later found on a sidewalk in front of the store, missing $5.North Aurorabull; Two men were arrested on charges of possession of cannabis at 1:20 a.m. Dec. 26 at State and Grant streets. Mitchell William Vella, 20, of the 900 block of Trask Road, North Aurora, was charged with possession of between 2.5 and 9.9 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia (a pipe), police said. Jacob Richard Fessler, 21, of the 500 block of North Van Buren Street in Batavia, was charged with possession of fewer than 2.5 grams, police said.bull; Junior A. Smith, 40, of the 44W700 block of Harter Road, Kaneville, was arrested and charged with telephone harassment and assault, at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 20 in the 1800 block of Towne Centre Drive, police said.
