Damage was $250.bull; Vandals the morning of Dec. 29 broke out the rear window to a 2005 Ford Escape parked in the 500 block of Walnut Lane, doing $200 damage. bull; Burglars broke into several vehicles the evening of Dec. 17 in a parking lot at 121 Northwest Point Blvd. They broke out the driver's-side window of a 2005 Cadillac Escalade, the passenger-side window of a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country van and the passenger-side window of a 2009 Chevrolet Impala four-door. In all three cases, glove boxes were rifled but nothing was taken. Damage in each case was estimated at $200.bull; Burglars smashed the driver's-side window on a 2009 Chevrolet Equinox in the 700 block of Perrie Drive and took the GPS unit overnight Dec. 21, for a loss of $550.bull; Vandals broke out the windows on two Orkin Pest Control trucks at 751 Lively Blvd., doing $200 in damage overnight Dec. 21.bull; Burglars broke out the back passenger window on a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox parked in the 1100 block of Touhy Avenue and took a black tote bag and an umbrella for a loss of $410 overnight Dec. 21.Rolling Meadowsbull; Burglars smashed the front, passenger-side windows to two vehicles parked at a church at 800 Rohlwing Road, about 8 p.m. Dec. 17. One vehicle was a 1996 blue Toyota Rav4. Taken was a brown Vera Bradley brand tote bag, $800 value, containing a white MacBook laptop computer, $1,0000 value. The other vehicle was a 2006 black Volkswagen Jetta. Taken was a black and tan imitation Coach purse, $400 value.bull; Burglars smashed the front, passenger-side windows to two vehicles parked at a restaurant at 3223 Algonquin Road between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 20. One vehicle was a 1995 green Chevrolet Impala. The other vehicle was a 1997 burgundy Pontiac Bonneville. Taken in both cases were in-dash car stereos.
