Comic is taking an ugly turn

Rusty is stuck under a car awaiting the tide that will drown him. A few weeks ago he was harassed by poachers and nearly became crocodile dinner. It seems like every other adventure has him getting into trouble on his own.

Does the great Mark Trail care so much for protecting animals that he doesn't have time to take care of the kid? Isn't it time we get family services involved?
