Column was terrible choice for Christmas
The article you decided to put in the Daily Herald of all days (Christmas) by Susan Estrich totally ruined my morning ritual of reading the Daily Herald and left me with hurt and bitter feelings toward you (editorial staff), the Daily Herald, and Susan Estrich the rest of Christmas Day.
I consider that type of rhetoric by Ms. Estrich not only incorrect by her interpretation of the Constitution but also bordering on hate. For you to print that article on your editorial page Christmas Day shows a total lack of respect and feeling for those of us that celebrate Christmas and the birth of Jesus.
I would think that after printing two articles in the same section of the paper about Christians being persecuted for celebrating Christmas in Iraq and Pakistan and a terrorist trying to blow up Christians in an airplane you would show better taste and respect. In my humble opinion I feel that the Daily Herald owes many of us an apology.
