Illinois (9-4) vs. Gonzaga (10-3)

When: Noon at United Center

TV: Channel 2

Radio: WIND 560-AM

The skinny: This near-sellout starts what should be a riveting four-year series between the Illini and the Bulldogs. This was initially planned for Dec. 5, but Illinois' football scheduling issues forced a move. For Gonzaga, that means a short turnaround after Thursday night's win over Oklahoma in Spokane, Wash. The Bulldogs feature a balanced attack with four double-figure scorers. They don't shoot a ton of 3-pointers, which is a switch from Illinois' last two opponents. They'll pound it to Elias Harris (13.5 ppg, 6.9 rpg) and 7-footer Robert Sacre (11.8 ppg). The Illini ought to get the ball early to 7-foot-1 Mike Tisdale, who's coming off a career-high 31 against NU.
