Congress, president haven't earned trust
Do you trust the members of the House of Representatives, Senate and president who have created more debt for our country than all prior administrations combined?
Do you trust the Congress and president who promised a new transparency in government but are scheming behind closed doors, voting in the middle of the night on legislation that will effect the lives of each and everyone of us?
Do you trust the Congress and president expanding entitlements (Medicare and Medicaid) while the programs are already bankrupt, programs that they have failed to secure? These programs that are to blame for much of the rapid inflation of insurance and health care costs along with a seriously flawed, unfair tax code that favors big business and unions and punishes individuals.
Do you trust the Congress and president passing a bill over 2,000 pages long, creating over 100 new bureaucracies, God knows how many new mandates and using tax dollars to bribe some Senators to vote for a bill that few of them have even read?
Do you trust the Congress and president who further complicate the issues of health insurance and health care? Many excellent providers will leave the medical profession and many innovative new people will be reluctant to join this behemoth bureaucracy that this monstrous plan creates.
If there's a shortage of health care providers, where do we get our health care?
"Who do you Trust" was an old TV game show. But this is no game. It is as serious as a heart attack (which we may not survive with more bureaucrats and fewer doctors). I trust individuals and families to select the type and amount of insurance they need and I trust them to make their health decisions along with their doctor, as to what care they will get.
