Crime Stoppers seeks info on Round Lake Beach man

Lake County Crime Stoppers is looking for a Round Lake Beach man who disappeared in August 2008. He is wanted for sexually abusing a teen.

Izaac Mendoza, 26, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse in August 2008 for the incident with a girl between 13 and 16 years old, Lake County Crime Stoppers Director Andy Anderson said.

Mendoza was released on bond and expected to appear for a preliminary hearing Aug. 14, 2008, but he never appeared. A warrant was issued for his arrest the same day, Anderson said.

Mendoza is described as 5-feet, 10-inches tall and about 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
