This kind of change only makes it worse

I am saddened by what has happened to government in my lifetime. I am reminded every time I see President Obama on TV without the class to wear a necktie and to dress the part of president of the United States. Gentlemen have dressed that part and have comported themselves as worthy leaders who instill confidence and claim the office and the image of the leader of the free world for over 200 years.

Today, the United States demands less respect with the present leadership profile, and as a result, receives less respect, and has lost the psychological edge power provides.

We do not wish to become the lowest common denominator in international circles. We do not need to be friends with tyrants and dictators. We do not want a diluted United States of America, friend to everyone and too weak to help anyone, not feared by terrorists and those who support terrorism, and too overextended to support ourselves. We do not need to join a Union of Countries to make our economy, trade, and defense strong. We do not need to buy loyalty by bringing socialist programs to the United States. What we do need to do is to remember who we are, and the price that was paid to become America.

I do not like the changes I see. I fear the changes that are coming. We don't know how to - or don't have the courage to - end the war in the Middle East. The economy is in shambles. We owe money for programs that we can't possibly pay for without just printing more money. My real problem though is this. I don't believe or trust any of them on either side any longer. What can I do about that?
