Brian Anderson finds new home in K.C.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Outfielder Brian Anderson has signed a one-year contract with the Kansas City Royals.
Anderson, 27, was traded by the Chicago White Sox to the Boston Red Sox on July 28 and hit 294 with two home runs in spot duty. He has a career .227 major league average with 22 home runs in 335 innings with Chicago since 2005.
