1 hurt in Arlington Heights crash

Snowy conditions contributed to a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Arlington Heights that resulted in one person being taken to a hospital for minor injuries.

Arlington Heights police Sgt. Jerry Lehnert said slick roads and a nearby S-curve caused the accident, and a woman involved said she had some pain in her left knee.

The woman was taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Lehnert said the woman was "going a little too fast" for the S-curve and slid into the second vehicle.
