Fitness center offers free classes

The Huntley Park District is offering free fitness classes this month at the district's Fitness Center, 12015 Mill St. Free classes will be offered through Dec. 31. Violence counseling offered

The Community Crisis Center in Elgin provides domestic violence counseling services for northwestern Kane County. A licensed counselor and is available to adult and adolescent females, and services are free. For information or an appointment, call (847) 697-2380.

Purchase Metra tickets online

Metra is now accepting credit card payment for ticket purchases made online. Using a new Web feature, My Metra, commuters will be able to create an account to easily manage and order tickets online. The feature also will allow them to view ticket order history, create a customized view of their train schedule and set up personalized e-mail alerts. Visit metrarail.com.
