Cause of former Elk Grove Village man's death unknown
The Cook County medical examiner's office said it will take six to eight weeks to determine the cause of death of a former Elk Grove Village resident found dead Wednesday night in a Chicago police lockup in the South Loop.
Services for 22-year-old Michael T. DeYoung will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at Grove Memorial Chapel in Arlington Heights. DeYoung attended Elk Grove High School and lived in the village for 15 years before moving to Chicago.
Toxicology tests have been requested, the medical examiner's office said.
