Skoien challengers on ballot

The pool of candidates running for Palatine Township Republican Committeeman in February's primary remains at three, despite objections to two of the challengers' election petitions.

The objection to political consultant and small business owner Collin Corbett's petitions was withdrawn and the Cook County Electoral Board ruled Palatine Councilman Aaron Del Mar's petitions were valid.

The objector in both cases was Patricia Sutarik, a Palatine resident and supporter of incumbent Gary Skoien.
