Aurora police searching for missing 16-year-old girl
Aurora Police are asking the public for help locating a missing 16- year-old girl.
Alisha House has been missing from her home in western Aurora since about 3 p.m. November 30.
Police said the girl sent her mother a text message at 3 p.m. that day saying she was going to be late coming home from school, but she never returned home.
Police said House is a frequent runaway and may be in Minooka, Maywood, or Chicago.
Police added family members does not believe she is in danger.
House is described as a black girl, 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighing about 115 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black jacket, yellow t-shirt, and blue jeans.
