Engineering firm breaks ground in Aurora

AURORA - Engineering Systems Inc., a national forensic and consulting engineering company, broke ground on its new building in Aurora at 4215 Campus Drive.

This will be the new home for the Illinois operations of the company, which currently has seven other offices across the United States.

The new 47,000-square-foot office, lab, inspection and testing facility will house about half of the 135 company staff, and is just blocks from where its founders began 23 years ago.

It will combine the staff from the company's current two buildings into one single-purpose facility.
