Naperville motel robbed at gunpoint

Naperville police are searching for the two men they believe robbed the Red Roof Inn in Naperville this morning.

Two men wearing face masks and carrying handguns had entered the lobby of the motel, 1698 W. Diehl Rd, about 4:30 a.m. One of them pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money, police said. The robbers fled with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured.

Both suspects are described as black males between the ages of 20 and 28, about 5 feet, 11 inches to 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. Both were wearing black pants and black hooded sweatshirts.
