When: 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Outlook: Eight-peat Metro Suburban Conference champion R-B hosts MSC newcomer Timothy, the Private School League's final champion. Brown recruit and MSC MVP Sean McGonagill averages 21 points; the Trojans bring in All-Area guard Reggie Greenwood, banger Rob Stein, on-ball defender Mike Pizzello.

Boys

WW South (3-2, 0-1) at

Naperville Central (6-1, 1-0)

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Outlook: The Tigers hope to get back guard Reilly O'Toole from a football injury. Derek Babb and Will Dolatowski have been the anchors in the lineup. New-look Naperville Central wins with balance, led by 6-6 third-year starter Matt Neufeld and fellow returner Nick Linne. Inside strength is an advantage for the Redhawks.

Boys

Downers South (4-2, 1-0) at Willowbrook (3-3, 0-0)

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Outlook: The Mustangs boast one of the area's top sophomores in guard Jamall Millison. Six-six Bledi Dervishi is a force in the middle. Willowbrook counters with Graham Olatunji, who notched double-doubles in two games last week, and returning guard Eric Miller. C.J. Thornton's also a strong sophomore guard.
