Seniors can celebrate the holidays at Christmas Gala

The St. Charles Park District and Bickford Assisted Living & Memory Care will present the 18th annual Christmas Gala from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 at St. Charles Country Club, 1250 Country Club Road in St. Charles. Those age 50 and older can celebrate the holiday their friends.

This annual holiday happening begins with nonalcoholic punch. Cash bar also will be available. Dinner includes your choice of pretzel-crusted chicken with Dusseldorf mustard sauce or broiled white fish with lemon caper butter sauce, mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. Dessert is vanilla ice cream with chocolate strawberry sauce. Coffee service will be provided.

After the dinner, live entertainment will be provided by Bob Hoge and the Olde Tyme Band sponsored by Valley Community Bank. There will be time to join in singing some of your favorite Christmas songs. You will find it may pay off to participate in the raffle, as Christmas comes early with countless prizes.
