Flaming Lips, Phoenix at Rosemont holiday show
Three acclaimed bands take the stage this weekend as part of the first-ever 93XRT/Bud Light BIG Holiday Show in Rosemont. Performing are the Flaming Lips, Phoenix and Pete Yorn. The Flaming Lips have cultivated a devoted critical and commercial following for their outrageous live shows and eclectic, literate music. French dance-rockers Phoenix are riding the wave generated by one of the most acclaimed records of the year. Yorn, meanwhile, continues to earn praise for his expressive singing and songwriting. A triple bill this good doesn't come around too often.
