Unemployment was caused by Bush

Someone should remind Mr. Francke that no one - not even Barack Obama - can undo eight years of Bush/Cheney, and especially in a recession year.

My reference to "let them eat cake" was to remind readers of the typical Republican political strategies of: repeated character assassination, incessant demand for "lower taxes, lower taxes, lower taxes" and not one ounce of positive planning, ill designed to do nothing for the good of the nation except to create more personal take home pay for the rich and the superrich.

So, Mr. Francke, don't rail against Barack Obama - in his first year - and the 10 percent unemployment rate. He didn't put these people out of work; your George Bush administration did, and let's face it: that Bush administration didn't care one whit about what their policies were going to do for - or to - the people. As the French Queen said, when told the people had no bread, "Let them eat cake!"
