Elgin's Werner rolls 711 series

Elgin High School boys bowler Blake Werner set a District U-46 record this past Friday when he rolled a 711 series during a dual meet against Woodstock North at Streamwood Lanes.

Werner had games of 249, 247 and 215 as the Maroons won the match 3-1.

Elgin's Justin Meyer also added a 632 series with games of 216, 202 and 214.
