Not socialism, just common sense

Finally, Congress has momentarily stepped off the special interest gravy train and decided that the voice of voters does matter.

I for one hope the passing of H.R. 3962 by Congress will begin an honest attempt by our government to broker with the all powerful health care insurance industry - a check and balance to curb skyrocketing health insurance premiums.

As a self-employed small business owner, I am sick and tired of being price-gouged by my insurance company every year. With a $10,000 personal deductible, and a $20,000 family deductible, I basically pay all out-of-pocket medical costs every year and the insurance company continues to raise my rates (this year $120 per month) without ever paying out on my direct costs.

Health care reform is long overdue and has nothing to do with socialism, but is all about the money.
