State establishes H1N1 Flu hotline

Flu hotline: Illinois opened a flu hotline Thursday to answer medical questions about the H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu. Doctors and nurses staffed by the Illinois Poison Center will talk about the flu, vaccine and treatment at 866-848-2094 in English and 866-241-2138 in Spanish.

Officials also warned against an Internet phishing scam in which e-mails ask readers to sign up a profile for vaccinations at www.cdc.gov. The government is not running such an online signup. Anyone using the site may subject his computer to a virus.
