Dist. 214 online auction set

The Community Education Foundation of Northwest Suburban High School District 214 is hosting an online auction that runs through Sunday, Dec. 6.

The auction is a fundraiser through eBay Giving Works that benefits Community Education's many programs such as English as a Second Language for adults, the Women's and Children's Center, Kids on Track, Family Literacy, Adult Basic Education and Cultural and Performing Arts.

Items up for auction include a Blues Brothers' Tour of Chicago, dinner at the Illinois Executive Mansion, a Cubs spring training trip in Arizona, wine tasting junkets for 10, weekend getaways at area hotels, a spa package, a Wii System and sports events.

Minimum bids range from $10 to $40. District 214 Community Education serves more than 50,000 people yearly. To bid, go to ce214.org, or under Community Education District 214 on Facebook and CommEdD214 on Twitter.
