Consumer Credit Union scholarship deadline near

WAUKEGAN - The deadline is approaching to apply for one of the six $1,500 scholarships for local high school seniors who are on pace to graduate in 2010. Consumers Credit Union, with six offices in Lake County, including Waukegan, Mundelein, Round Lake Beach, Gurnee, North Waukegan and Volo, offers the awards. Interested applicants should include their official high school transcript, through their junior year, along with a copy of the first semester grades from the current academic year. Applications must be received by Dec. 31. Applications are available at area high schools, at all six Consumers Credit Union locations and online at www.myconsumers.org.
