Wisconsin not treating Duke any differently
MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan says he's not approaching Wednesday's matchup against No. 6 Duke any differently than any other game.
And he's also not dwelling on what happened the last time the two teams met.
In that game two years ago, Duke made 11 of 24 3-pointers to win handily 82-58.
But Wisconsin (4-1) is coming off an upset win Wednesday against Maryland, which was ranked 21st at the time. In that game, Wisconsin shot 45.5 percent from behind the 3-point line.
Ryan said at his weekly news conference Monday that his team got out of synch in the contest two years ago. And while Duke comes in with a Top 10 ranking, Ryan says his team has proven it can compete nationally and deserves respect as well.
