Liberals are getting fooled by Obama

Mr. Cohen's article "An Intense Study of Sarah Palin... " (Nov. 17th.). is a sorry, malevolent diatribe against Republicans and conservatives (President Bush, Senator McCain and Sarah Palin). Oh poor Sarah, that inconsequential know-nothing woman. If so inconsequential, why is there a crusade to destroy her, not based on her policies or the values she espouses but a character assassination.

How about conservatives. According to Cohen, we are resentful, irrational, vile.

Take heart, we have been called worse than that: patriotic, religious, compassionate, believer in individual worth and initiative and a healthy distrust in big government and its socialist mandates.

Back to Sarah Palin, Cohen's worst nightmare. Though a successful governor of Alaska, she does not have the proper experience to be president.

Contrast that with Obama. His sole leadership experience was as an organizer for ACORN, an organization that has been indicted and its members convicted in 23 states for vote fraud, an organization that had engaged in criminal activity, etc. Some organizer, Obama. But the Obama leadership express does not stop there.

On his current Asia blitz he managed to lower respect for America by bowing in abject awe before several foreign rulers. In return, that great negotiator Obama received nothing.

Obama the decision maker: Afghanistan, no decision. Obama's inner circle: Communist (Jones), America hater (Rev. Wright), tax cheats (Geithner, and 4 others), bad choices. Obama's health care: government takeover of one-sixth of the economy: really bad choice.

The point is not whether Sarah Palin would make a better president, but that left wing, liberal commentators like Cohen, have a neurotic fixation on Republicans while completely ignoring the destruction of the American way of life by the Obama White House and the Democrat controlled Congress. How could independents fall for Obama's demagoguery?
