Vaccine only good for making money
Gardasil is a new vaccine that is supposed to protect young women and girls against four strains of the sexually transmitted Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Gardasil is promoted by Merck, the pharmaceutical manufacturer, as a safe and effective prevention measure against cervical cancer. The theory behind the vaccine is that the HPV may cause cervical cancer. And the vaccine would give a greater immunity to some strains of HPV, thereby reducing the incidence of this form of cancer. Tens of millions of American girls have been vaccinated to date.
Why? Seventy percent of HPV infections resolve themselves without treatment, in less than a year. After two years, this rate climbs to 90 percent. Of the remaining 10 percent of HPV infections, only half coincide with the development of cervical cancer.
In the United States, the cervical cancer rate is 8 percent per 100,000 women. Moreover, it is one of the most treatable forms of cancer. The current death rate from cervical cancer is between 1.6 to 3.7 deaths per 100,000 cases of the disease.
Is the vaccine effective? The answer is NO. Merck researcher Dr. Harper has stated, "With the use of Gardasil there will be no decrease in cervical cancer until at least 70 percent of the population is vaccinated, and in that case, the decrease will be very minimal."
A hoax? You bet. A moneymaker? You bet. Thousands of young girls with severe adverse reactions to the vaccine are the victims. What are the ethics of mass vaccinations in young girls under 15? Dr. Harper said, "There have been no efficacy trials in girls under 15." Does this mean if you vaccinate a child you haven't protected her? Yes, that's exactly what the doctor said. Dr. Harper further says, "The rate of serious adverse events is greater than the incident rate of cervical cancer."
I think Gardasil is a product of the sexual liberation movement, which is determined not to let mere disease or even death stand in the way of their agenda. I think it's time the public understand that the Gardasil vaccine does nothing for your child, except perhaps maim. And there are thousands of young victims and their families who can attest to that.
