Health care vote gives hope for future

I offer a heartfelt thank you to Congresswoman Melissa Bean for voting on the side of Americans with her affirmative vote on HR 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act. Millions of uninsured and underinsured Americans have a new found hope as a result of this historic vote. Finally, the United States is on the path to assuring that it's citizens have access to affordable health care. I am sure Congresswoman Bean experienced intense lobbying from insurance companies that wanted only to protect their profits and huge CEO compensation packages. Insurance lobbyists insisted that they sought a level playing field. Congresswoman Bean cast her vote to level the playing field for every American and we owe her a debt of gratitude. Way to go Congresswoman Bean!
