Time to pull out of Afghanistan

The President spent part of Veterans Day spouting lip service to our vets. Then on the same day announces that he does not accept any of the Afghanistan options, and will further delay making any decision on troops.

Mr. President, just pack it up, and move our troops out of the country. U.S. warriors are being killed at a record pace. Your hand-picked General McChrystal did the job you tasked him with: study the situation and report.

This was going on four months ago, not to mention the two years of campaigning where you repeated that this was the right war, and you would fight it the "right way" and hunt down Bin Laden where ever he tried to hide.

Mr. President, just do our warriors a favor. Pack up and leave the country. You won't back up the troops on the ground. Don't commit to this halfheartedly - you will just kill more troops for nothing.

As a vet myself I would have more respect for you if you just made a command decision and pulled out. At least it would be decisive. Continued dithering on the decision while we have troops on the ground being killed at a record rate under the guise of studying the timelines and the Afghan government's viability, border on being treason.
