Santa to arrive by truck in Round Lake Beach

The village of Round Lake Beach will host the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are scheduled to arrive by fire truck at 6:15 p.m. and the 45-foot tree in front of the village hall will be illuminated at 6:30 p.m.

The Round Lake High School Choir will lead everyone in carols.

Hot drinks, treats and children's crafts will be available at the Cultural & Civic Center next door.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will meet with every child next to the fireplace and large indoor Christmas tree where parents can take their own photos.
