What about Wildcats monster drive in the 3rd?

Lindsey Willhite's article about the NU vs Illinois game, "It's Official," is misleading.

Willhite opined that the game was defined by a "controversial" call on 4th and 1 when NU's Sherrick McManis intercepted a pass at the Illinois 35 yard line with 32 seconds left. Willhite suggests that had the call been reversed, Illinois would have surely punched it in for the winning score from its own 32 yard line and no timeouts left.

Official reviews, which are in place to ensure the accuracy of close calls, confirmed the ruling on the field. The call would be more accurately described as "unpopular." An accurate account of the game's defining moment would have highlighted NU's 99.5-yard drive in the third quarter to take a commanding 14-3 lead.
