Quit campaigning; start governing

I feel the constant reference to a government takeover is ironic, because it is being made by people who are part of government. This catchphrase is particularly offensive since it is being made by those either holding elective offices or desperately running to get one. They and we are the government. Let us realize that is what the current president is trying to do - "change government." Let us work to eliminate campaigning from the day after an election until the next election. I believe I am not alone in saying, "quit campaigning and start governing."
