Listen to experts about mammograms

Am I the only one that finds it very suspect that "a government panel' has recommended that women should begin mammograms at age 50, and only receive them every two years? The current guideline endorsed by the American Cancer Society is that women starting at age 40 should get yearly mammograms.

Is this "government panel" making this recommendation now so that our proposed national health care plan doesn't have to allow them in the future? What's next, recommending that women don't really need prenatal care?

How about childhood vaccines?

Maybe they aren't all necessary either. I don't want the government making changes to my family's health care based on "a government panel."

Let's stick with medical professions, without hidden agendas, to determine what medical tests are needed to prevent illnesses. It looks like a bad sign to me.
