Scouting report A few years from now this season could be remembered as the year the Huskies' program saw the start of something good. After a few down years and coaching changes, Discipio sees reason for hope. "We are looking better," she said. This year's Huskies are very young and they don't have much height. But the players worked on their game during the off-season more than they have in recent years, and the hard work is paying off already. It's just the start of Discipio's plans to rebuild the program. "There is consistency now at every level," Discipio said. "I feel very optimistic. I feel we have a couple of true basketball players now." Most of all, Discipio plans to be around a while to see it through, ending the coaching carousel. "I don't plan on going anywhere," she said. "I fully believe in these girls. I believe in this program."
