They're gone The Rams graduated three good starters in Megan LeBaron, Katelynn Putkonen and Alison Metzger. They led the Rams to a sectional-final berth.

Starting five Athletic junior guard Alex Scarbro could be line for a breakout season after starting last season. She and forward Kat Dickson have been on varsity since their freshman year. Dickson, a soccer goalie, has shown good hands in this sport too. Lass' starting five Monday night against Jacobs also included junior guard Mandy Miller, 6-1 junior newcomer Rebekah Llorens and sophomore forward Skyler Jessop, who was a midseason call-up last winter.

Off the bench Senior Ragan Wilson gets after it defensively. She got minutes coming off the bench last season, as did Kaila Sparkman, Maggie Klees, Ellen Coddens and Erin Proeber. Lass' bench also includes Roxy Acoff, Michelle Secler, Claire Brennan and Colleen Daly.

Lass says "We're going to play good defense and fast break a lot. Our defense has quickness and a lot of speed. When we move the ball, we're tough to guard. We've got a lot of players back that have played on the varsity level."
