Represent people, not special interests

Dear Rep. Kirk:

Voting in favor of the health care reform bill is the American thing to do and as my representative, I want you to represent me and not these rich self-interest groups. The reason that I believed in you was because it seemed that you had your own conscience and voted for the good of the people that elected you into office, not toting the party line of out-of-date conservatives that never have to worry if their children or aging relatives, let alone themselves are covered by health insurance.

I can't believe they bought you out. This was the same rhetoric they spewed over Medicare and Social Security in years gone by.

I have a pre-existing condition and your vote just gave me a death sentence.

You have another chance to do the right thing for the people that elected you unless your interest is to be swayed by your special interest groups who buy your vote.
