Rockin' for a cause in Arlington Heights

A benefit concert will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, at Harry's, 1 N. Vail Ave., in downtown Arlington Heights, to benefit The Gridiron Alliance, a nonprofit group devoted to helping high school football players paralyzed by spinal cord injuries. The "Rockin' for a Good Cause" event is sponsored by the Random Acts of Kindness Club of Arlington Heights.

The band "Missed Opportunity" will play rock covers of the '80s, '90s and 2000s from 7 to 11 p.m., and there will be a silent auction of sports memorabilia. Admission is $10. A portion of the bar sales also will benefit The Gridiron Alliance. For more information, see gridironalliance.org.
